  • This Peaked Service Cap is known to have been worn sometime after the 1952 period. It belonged to a US Marine Corps. junior officer who went on in rank to become a Major General. His name is Donald J. Fulham. This hat is in excellent - plus condition. It has a paper name tag found inside with "D.J. Fulham: written on it. Fulham had a long military career, and he saw combat in Vietnam as well. This hat includes 3 pages of biographical information on General Fulham's 40 year Marine Corps. career.

  • Comments from the Curator:

The Tank Museum recently acquired this hat from a collector who had obtained several items from General Fulham's estate. Fulham wore this hat for a long time as a junior officer, and yet it is in excellent condition. This hat would make a fine, and yet inexpensive addition to any collection, especially since it belonged to a much combat decorated Marine Corps. General.
