    Comments from the Curator:

  • This uniform is in MINT unissued condition. It is also unworn. It was obtained along with many other items that once belonged to Major General Harlan Nelson Hartness. This grouping includes 2 of Hartness's patches which are both of WWII manufacture style, and both of which show evidence of once having been sewn on one of his uniforms. Additional provenance is seen by a large folder full of newspaper clippings and a few original photos illustrating segments of Hartness's interesting Army Career. This is an affordable grouping for a collector on a budget wishing to have a proven combat general is his collection.
