October 26th, 1956 dated, US Army Green Uniform, belonging to a Sergeant, 1st Class (or "E-7"),
named: "White", serving in the Air Defense Artillery School
This uniform is dated October 26th, 1956. It is a US Army, "Coat, Man's, Wool Serge, Army Green 44", or US Army
Green Uniform. This uniform is manufactured to "Spec. No. MIL-C-13990 (Q.M.C.), Pattern Date 3/23/56." This uniform belonged
to a Sergeant, 1st Class (or "E-7"), named "White," as is evidenced by the cloth rank stripes found sewn to each sleeve, and
by the name plate pinned on the right breast. White served in the Air Defense Artillery School as is evidenced by the round shape
cloth patch found sewn near the top of the left sleeve. A really interesting detail about this patch is that it is sewn on wrong
with the reverse side facing out (a rare occurrance). The enlisted man's collar discs are of the optional silver color
type and are also for Anti-Aircraft Artillery units. This uniform is in MINT condition. While not an expensive uniform in any event,
the current price does reflect the oddity of the reversed shoulder patch. NOTE: The name of "White" is un-sure. When
this uniform was obtained it was obtained with 2 other uniforms and a box of several name tags, making a perfect match a guess
at best.
