Uniform
This uniform dated between 1962 to the 1991 period as evidenced by the white color piping found throughout the
uniform. This uniform is a East German (i.e.: "German Democratic Republic" or "G.D.R") National Volks Armee
(i.e.: "National People's Army", or just plain "Army"), Servie Dress Uniform. It belonged to a Signal Corps. Stabs Fahnrich as is
evidenced by the Signal Corps. orange branch color epaulette underlayment color and the rank by the silver bullion
braid on the same epaulettes. This "W.O" as they are often called, has a large shield shape cloth patch found sewn on the left sleeve
indicating he has under 10 years of service of said enlistment. The Officer's quality heavy silver bullion wire collar tabs are magnificent
and bright. The entire uniform is in MINT! condition. There is interior evidence of this W.O. having 2 breast badges on his
right side. There are also many factory ink stampings found inside as well. This is a very attractive and desirable larger size uniform.
