belonging to a Quartermaster, Corporal, serving in the Army Service Forces
This jacket is dated March 12th, 1951. It is a US Army, M-1950 Model, "Jackets, Wool, O.D., M-50, or "IKE" style
of a jacket. The inside pocket cloth tag reads also that it was made to "Spec. #MIL-J-10801 (Q.M.C.)." This IKE jacket
belonged to a Corporal as is evidenced by the rank stripes sewn to each sleeve. The jacket inside has the usual partial
serial number of the soldier inked inside. This Corporal served in the Quartermaster Corps. as is evidenced by his brass insignia
found pinned on his collar. Sewn on his upper right sleeve is a round shape cloth patch for service in the Army Service
Forces. This soldier has received a Good Conduct Medal which is still pinned on his chest. This jacket is in MINT conidition.
With the medal this uniform is very affordably priced.
