Uniform Details

This uniform is dated April 10th, 1951 and is of the Korean War period. It is a US Army, "Spec. MIL-C-10803, Pattern Date 22nd of December, 1950", "Coat, Wool Serge, 12 Oz., Taupe Shade 121, Women's". This WAC Woman's uniform, is in unissued condition, therefore it has no rank or shoulder insignia. This uniform includes a correct style pair of seamed stockings added by the museum. The buttons that are included are not the correct bronze color necessary for this uniform. The correct color buttons are often found on E-bay, etc.

Comments From The Curator:

These taupe color uniforms were only worn for a very few short years and thus are fairly rare. To find one such as this in unissued condition is quite a find.
