  • Comments from the Curator:

Polish General's uniforms are virtually non-existant in any collection today. With war time examples selling in the many tens of thousands of dollars each, post war uniforms such as this are slowly following suit. This named Infantry General's uniform is amazingly complete. It is well worth researching to discover the biographical history of this General, and with his name in hand, this should prove possible for the researcher. The ribbon bar indicates Warchalski received two wounds. Perhaps these were received in World War II service, and if they were this uniform would sell for tremendously more than the current asking price.
