This woman's uniform is dated 1978. It is a US Army, "Jacket, Wmn's, Summer Warp Knit, (Short Sleeve) AG-388". This woman's mint green color uniform is not named inside. This uniform is typical of the period for women soldiers. The design of this uniform was largely based on fashions of the time. This style of a uniform only lasted in Army use for 11 years. The type of uniform was worn by Officer's and Enlisted Women alike. This example is in EXCELLENT condition.

It is hard to believe that a modern period uniform can be rare, but this is just such a case. The mint green color was universally hated by almost everyone, so these uniforms often were thrown away by discharged women who swore that they would never wear such a contraption ever again!
