Uniform Details

This uniform is dated April 10th, 1951. It is a US Army, "Spec. MIL-C-10803, Pattern Date 22nd of December, 1950", "Coat, Wool Serge, 12 Oz., Taupe Shade 121, Women's". This WAC Woman's uniform is in UNISSUED CONDITION, therefore it has no rank or shoulder insignia. This particular uniform includes a April 10th, 1951 dated, "Spec. MIL-S-10802, Pat. Date 22 Dec. 50", "Skirt, Wool Serge 12 Oz. Taupe Shade 121, Women's". This skirt is also in UNISSUED CONDITION, and it includes a unsewn hem tape still found in it's original paper envelope. This uniform grouping also comes with a correct style pair of seamed nylon stockings added by the museum.

Comments From The Curator:

This is a very rare style of a uniform that was worn for only a few years. To find one in unissued condition makes it very desirable to the collector. The skirts alone usually sell for over $120.00 at shows, so you are getting a great bargain here.
