Large Air Force Grouping Belonging to a Husband and Wife named: "William E. Pasutti" &
"Eva Parsons Dow"
Uniform Details
This is an amazing grouping of 22 uniforms and many additional items. All belonged to a husband and wife, who served in the
US Air Force and later in the Civil Air Patrol. Their tours started in WWII when the husband, a US Army Airforce Captain, named:
"William E. Pasutti", married his sweetheart who was a civilian nurse in the Eastern Maine General Hospital, named: "Eva
Parsons Dow" and who was additionally nick-named "Skip". Their tours took this couple to many far off places around the
country. Later in their careers they remained in the now re-designated US Air Force, and later joined together as a flying team,
in the Civil Air Patrol. The uniform items in this large grouping are dated as early as 1943 and the later items are dated as late as
1980 - an amazingly long career for any couple. Eva obtained the rank of a Colonel, while her husband William only reached
the rank of a Major. We wonder if he had to salute her? Most of these uniform items are in excellent condition, and all have been
professionally cleaned (a major expense when adding up all of the great many items involved). Many uniforms are complete with
insignia from both the US Air Force and C.A.P. Both the doctor and his wife were both accomplished pilots. Eva alone flew
over 300 search missions! They taught many other young people how to fly through the C.A.P. program. The full biographical
career information on this almost fantasy - llike couple can be found with item No. 2 found below. The grouping consists of these
