This Soviet Army uniform is dated 1922 and was worn from 1919 to 1924

It is a Model 1919, Soviet Army, summer weight, khaki color, pull-over style uniform called a: "GYMNASTIORKA"

It belonged to a Soviet Tank Forces Sergeant Major, as indicated by the red rank insignia sewn to his lower left sleeve

This uniform is of the subdued pattern, in that the black color Tank Forces insignia backing is not used

This period of a Tank Forces uniform is quite rare today
