At this time biographical information is still being sought concerning this General an so little is known about him at this particular time .
The shield shaped cloth patch sewn to the upper left sleeve indicates service in the Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance ( Command ? ) .
Sewn above that patch is an arc shaped cloth patch indicating service as a Ranger .
Sewn to the upper right sleeve is a diamond shaped cloth patch indicating former service with the 4 th Infantry Division ( Mechanized ) .
There are 2 cloth award patches found sewn to the top left pocket flap area , which are the : " Combat Infantryman ' s Badge " , and the " Basic Parachutist Badge " .
General Jones uniform includes his 1994 dated , " Trousers , Hot Weather , Woodland Camouflage Pattern , Combat " , that are named to : " Jones " , and a museum added pair of July , 1988 dated boots .
