M16A1 Rifle Details

This double size aluminum and plastic mockup is of a 1980's period, US Army, M16A1 Automatic Rifle. It is all original and includes it's original carrying case. It looks all complete, but has not been tested for completeness or function. Can not be made to fire live ammo. Includes mag. spring but no mag. Condition is very good plus. Case is 59" long X 9 1/2" wide X 15" high. Weight approx. 25lbs. Decal on the case reads: "US Army Material Development And Readiness Command". Data plate on the case reads: "Device 09-19, M16A1 Rifle Mockup, Scale 2:1", and also reads: "US Army Project Manager Training Devices Orlando Florida, Manufacturer: Ben Lorenz Associates, 1983, Serial Number 39".
