Marine Corps - General Paul X. Kelley
General Kelley was born in Boston Massachusetts in 1928. He was commissioned a second lieutenant in the USMC in June
1950. He also served as the exchange officer with the British Royal Marines and became one of the only foreigners to earn the
Royal Marines' coveted green beret. During Vietnam he commanded the 2nd Battalion 4th Marines in combat. For this he
earned the Silver Star Medal, Legion of Merit, and two Bronze Stars. He then commanded the 1st Marines in 1970 to 1971.
He was promoted to rank of Brigadier General in 1974. General Kelley was promoted to Lieutenant General in 1980, and finally
promoted to the rank of General in 1981. If you wish to learn more about Commandant Paul Kelley, please google his name,

the autograph is on the matting surrounding the photograph. Below is a picture of the writing and autograph. The writing and
