This cap is dated 1969. It is a West German Army (i.e.: "German Federal Republic or "G.F.R."), peaked service cap. This cap has an enlisted man's style chin strap. The blue piping indicates service in the medical branch of the service. This cap is very well marked inside with much writing, including it's manufacturer's name of: "Bamberger Mutzen-Industrie." Condition inside is MINT. Exterior is excellent with the only flaw of an old price tag mark on the visor. This cap is almost 40 years old, and getting very difficult to find as most have been destroyed per Army regulations of the time.
